MT-G announces a special model with a robustly beautiful metal-and-resin case, equipped with GPS HYBRID radio-controlled, solar-powered timekeeping to assure precision, and designed with a “sunken treasure” theme recalling a treasure lying deep beneath the sea.
A black IP (ion-plated) layer applied over rose gold IP is purposely peeled back in parts to present a well-worn appearance.
A phosphorescent coating is applied to the hands and hour markers, moreover, and the inset dial at 10 o’clock is enclosed in a rose gold perimeter ring accentuating the color scheme.
Finishing down to the smallest detail contributes to a vintage look.
This special model embodies the appeal of G-SHOCK augmented by an impression of long use in harsh environments.

A unique vintage look is reproduced by aged IP processing. After rose gold and black IP processing are applied in layers to the bezel, case and case back, the black top layer is peeled back in places to create the appearance of long, hard use.
Built to withstand severe conditions with no fading of its appeal over time, MT-G has acquired a distinctly vintage external appearance.
