The Ultimate Guide to All G-SHOCKs — composed by Experts

From the GULFMASTER collection of watches designed to stand up to the rigors of world oceans, comes a new model equipped with a new type of band and outstanding practicality.
Quad sensor functions that support activities under severe conditions on the ocean are maintained while a new structure makes the watch easier to put on and take off. A composite band with an extension mechanism allows easy band size adjustment while wearing a wet suit or gloves, which is a feature demanded by crew members. A folding mechanism combines with a worm gear that allows free adjustment up to a maximum of 31 mm. A triple fold buckle with one-press release combines with a composite band that incorporates H-shaped elements with metal cores and fine resin center elements for outstanding durability and comfort.
With the GWN-Q1000 as the base model, this model is equipped with a depth sensor, a barometric pressure sensor that can be used to predict upcoming weather changes, a temperature sensor that detects air and water temperature, and a digital compass that can be used to determine wind and tide directions. An auto level correction function detects the angle of the watch during digital compass readings and compensates accordingly, which helps to ensure correct readings while on a rocking boat. A dial at 5 o’clock is used to alert the wearer to sudden changes in barometric pressure, and acts as a Tide Graph to indicate high and low tide information. A dual-coil motor drives the retrograde dial hand that provides various types of information. These models provide the wearer with instant feedback on the constantly changing natural environment.
A case reinforced with highly rigid carbon fiber adds a greater degree of toughness. The buttons are structured of metal pipes and triple O-rings for greater durability and water resistance. Everything about these models is designed and engineered for maritime use.
GULFMASTER is the watch designed and engineered to stand up to the extremes of maritime activities for performance that the tough men of the sea demand.
